On July 22 Savcor acquired Intune Circuits to strengthen the RFID antenna business within Savcor. With the acquisition of Intune Circuits Savcor will become the leading RFID antenna producer with a very wide product portfolio and manufacturing on multiple sites. Savcor announcement here.
Intune circuits is strengthening its precence in APAC region
Ellen Hong has been nominated as Business Development Manager, APAC. Ellen will strengthen Intune Circuits presence in APAC region which we see as a fast growing and interest market for RFID tag antennas. Ellen will be based in Hong Kong and report to Erik Björkenheim VP Market operations.

Intune has carried out a mutual compatibility research with
Delo Industrial Adhesives and Mühlbauer AG. Report shows excellent reliability and processability properties of Intune aluminium UHF product group 102 when combined with selected Delo IC attachment adhesives and processed with Mühlbauer equipment. As Intune continues its growth we have strengthened our organization with following new appointments:
Antti Känsälä has been appointed Technical Product Engineer. Antti is responsible for our product offering and will work closely with our customers to make sure that the final product will be exactly what our customers are expecting.
Mari Lindroos has been appointed as Assistant.
Mika Renvall has been appointed as Production Manager. Mika will be responsible for our increased production capacity to ensure high quality antennas with short lead times.
Arja Koivuaho has been appointed as Production Planner. Arja will be responsible for our operative sales at the same time as she will optimize the production schedule. Arja will be our main contact towards our customers in all operative matters.

Olli-Pekka Lintula appointed President of Intune Circuits Ltd
(Helsinki, 9 September, 2006) – Mr Olli-Pekka Lintula, M.Sc (Techn.), aged 44, has been appointed President of Intune Circuits Ltd as of October 1, 2006, when current President, Mr Matti Karjanlahti will leave the company, due to difference in views with the Board of Directors. Mr. Lintula will transfer to Intune from Nokia, where he has been responsible for strategic technology marketing. He has over 10 years of professional experience in marketing of new technology and business to business services.

Intune's manufacturing technology for RFID-antennas represents state-of-the-art technology and markets have high interest for the company's products.
